Creativity speaks to people. It touches hearts, communicates messages and builds bridges. It´s an effective tool when it comes to having an influence.

How´s the level of creativity in your life? How much are you using creative elements in your work with people?

In this blog post I do a video interview with Rowan Johnsen on the topic of creativity. We speak about his work as a worship pastor as well as how to use creativity in life and ministry.

(SUBTITLES AVAILABLE IN GERMAN & ENGLISH!)

Rowan is an artist who is bursting with talent:

As a musician, singer and rapper he worked and toured with artists and bands like Lecrae, Switchfoot and Hillsong United.

He was raised in South Africa and Australia but lives in Germany since a couple of years. At the moment he´s supporting the Hillsong Germany Campus München (while the recording of the interview still Move Church Wiesbaden).

In this video you´ll hear more about questions like:

  • How can anyone who is ministering to people on a regular basis use creativity in a better way?

  • How to use discipline in order to get more creative?

  • How can leaders increase their level of creativity in order to reach more people?

  • How to avoid getting bored in life?

In addition to that Rowan is mentioning different resources he personally finds helpful:
